Advanced Settings and Filter Options

Please make sure to click the "Done" button to save any changes in the Advanced Settings. It will be necessary to reset the advance settings each time you reopen QX2QXO.

Transfer Jobs with a status of...

This section filters what jobs get transferred to QXpress Online. Each job status has a separate date filter. Only jobs after the selected date will be transferred. QXpress Online does have a data limit. It is recommended that you leave the date filters at or close to their defaults to help avoid exceeding the usage limit.

If you decide to transfer more or all of your history, it is recommended that you transfer only active jobs first so that you can begin using QXpress Online as soon as possible (You don't want to make any changes in QXpress while data is being transferred, otherwise you risk the changes not being sent to QXpress Online). After all the active jobs are transferred, you can transfer again with the desired history. The jobs that were added on the initial transfer will not be added again.

Recurring jobs in QXpress can still have a status of "Active" even if the last scheduled visit for that service may have passed. If the "Treat 'Active' Recurring..." checkbox is checked, these jobs will be considered as done, not active and will be transferred based on the filter date for "Done" jobs. If the box is not checked, it will be considered an active job and will be transferred.

Force Add Fields

This option ensures that all required fields have been added to QXpress Online for the sections that are being transferred. It is not normally necessary to select this option.

Auto Add Dropdown Values

User defined fields that are dropdowns generally get their values from the list of available options. However, it is possible to manually type in a value that is not in the list. If this option is not checked, the user defined fields for a customer will not transfer if any of their user defined dropdown fields have a value not in the list. If this option is checked, the manually entered text will be added as a value to select from for that dropdown field.

Assign Jobs to Employee Instead of Crew

If this option is selected, jobs from QXpress will be assigned to the crew leader of the crew the job is assigned to in QXpress. If this option is not selected, the jobs from QXpress will be assigned to the crew it was assigned to in QXpress. Please note that Employees or Crews must be transferred prior to transferring jobs.
